Janni Olsson Delér

28-year-old Janni Olsson Delér can call herself both a lifestyle and fashion blogger, as well as a talented designer. After being born and raised in Stockholm, Janni has lived in Monaco with her husband Jon for the past three years. Janni has always enjoyed travel, and believes that her travels are one of the reasons she became so popular on Instagram after joining the social media platform five years ago. In addition to her interest in traveling, Janni has loved fashion for as long as she can remember. She describes her own style as simple with a twist, and her goal is to inspire others to be themselves. She finds inspiration in different places, including street style, Instagram, Pinterest, and various online stores. She inspires others with her unique mix of styles. When Janni designed her collection for iDeal Of Sweden, she wanted the line to represent her and the things she loves.

Pink Sunset

This dreamy case is inspired by the beautiful sunsets in Marbella, Spain. Soft, baby-pink tones create a sophisticated and harmonious design that will add a romantic touch to your wardrobe. The design is clean, elegant, and simultaneously striking. Prepare to be noticed!

Coral Leaves

“Coral Leaves” features banana leaves displayed on a coral-pink background, resulting in a beautiful pop of color. With its exotic and tropical vibes, this case will give you that carefree summertime feeling all year long. “Coral Leaves” is an eye-catching design, which will add a touch of playfulness to your look and style.

Marble Shells

Shells have been featured in fashion jewelry and accessories throughout recent seasons. “Marble Shells” is the interpretation of this fun and whimsical trend. The shells are combined with beautiful marble prints in beautifully muted tones. Golden details and subtle shimmer combined with the gold-toned logo create a solid and exquisite design.

Moroccan Carpet

Morocco has been a source of inspiration for both fashion and interior designers over the past several years. “Moroccan Carpet” is inspired by the world-famous Beni Ourain carpet. With its black, geometric lines displayed on a crisp white background, the design is timeless and beautifully bohemian, making it versatile enough for virtually any occasion.

Black to Basic

“Black to Basics” is bringing back the 90s, as the trend of logos and trademarks printed on clothing and accessories is back. This reemerging style has been shown in multiple internationally-known fashion house collections, and it has us completely inspired. “Black to Basics” embraces this trend, with white lettering displayed on a black background, creating an interesting contrast while simultaneously giving the case an elegant look.

Meet Janni Olsson Delér

28-year-old Janni Olsson Delér can call herself both a lifestyle and fashion blogger, as well as a talented designer. After being born and raised in Stockholm, Janni has lived in Monaco with her husband Jon for the past three years. We took the opportunity to ask Janni about her career tips, personal style and, of course, her design collaboration with iDeal Of Sweden.

Janni has always enjoyed travel, and believes that her travels are one of the reasons she became so popular on Instagram after joining the social media platform five years ago. In addition to her interest in traveling, Janni has loved fashion for as long as she can remember. During her childhood, she loved to experiment with clothes, as well as repurpose them.

“I see pictures from when I was really little and how I always tried different types of clothes and styles. I don’t know why, but that’s something I’ve always loved. It’s a way of expressing yourself.”

Janni has always dreamed of being part of the design world. She remembers creating garments during sewing classes in school and wondering why no clothing company had created similar styles. She enjoys the creative process, which has carried over into her love for fashion and photography. She describes her own style as simple with a twist, and her goal is to inspire others to be themselves. Janni truly believes that you don’t need makeup or expensive products to feel fabulous.

“My biggest wish is that everyone should feel comfortable with themselves. I hope that’s what I’m inspiring to.”

Janni has no specific role model when it comes to style, as her own style differs a lot from time to time. She finds inspiration in different places, including street style, Instagram, Pinterest, and various online stores. She inspires others with her unique mix of styles.

When Janni designed her collection for iDeal Of Sweden, she wanted the line to represent her and the things she loves.

“It should reflect where I am in life right now and what I enjoy. I am inspired by my surroundings, our new home, hours of the day I enjoy the most, and places I love.”

When she began sketching her inspiration for the cases, the process was surprisingly quick, and it didn’t take long for Janni to get a clear picture of what she wanted to include.

“I sat at our dining table in Spain and looked around, and the inspiration came immediately. Sunset, shells and palm trees are some [of the] things I always want close to me, so that was a simple choice, and the rest just came to me.”

Janni describes the line as “The World of Janni” collection, with a tropical, calm, theme, along with beautiful places and fashion. It’s difficult for the influencer to choose a favorite case from the collection, but she particularly loves Coral Leaves, which looks beautiful in photos.

When she was younger, Janni recalls being very stubborn and confident, and says that her determination could sometimes be a problem.

“If I wanted to do something, I did [it], or I would go crazy… It’s probably a little bit the same now, but I’ve learned to control the feeling,” she says with a laugh.

In some situations, Janni still isn’t the biggest fan of her stubborn tendencies, but it’s also the trait she appreciates most about herself. Her stubbornness is undoubtedly one of the key reasons she is where she is today.

Another weakness Janni struggles with is taking time off from work.

“I think it would be better if I could take some time off work to make space for my creativity,” she explains. “If you are tired, it’s hard to be creative. It’s hard to find that balance when you love what you do.”

The creative process is what Janni loves most about her job. She particularly loves coming up with photography ideas.

“It’s so cool when you see a finished photo that you’ve had in your head,” she says. “Most of the time, it doesn’t end up as you imagined. Sometimes it gets better and sometimes worse.”

Being an influencer is not always a walk in the park. Janni explains that the most difficult part of the job is the pressure to always be online and to stay on top. Since Janni actually is her job, she has to be prepared to stand in front of the camera and deliver content on an almost daily basis. However, she’s not afraid to show herself au naturel.

“In fact, I usually like it more than having hair and makeup done. It’s probably a reaction [to so] many people [having] a lot of makeup etc. on social media today. I want to feel that you can be yourself also without makeup.”

It takes a lot of time and planning to successfully balance her Instagram account, blog, YouTube channel, and private life. Because Janni is so passionate about her job, however, she takes it all in stride. She is intent on maintaining a schedule where she prioritizes sleep and exercise. She also plans evenings free from work to rest and recharge.

Janni tells us that no two days are alike when it comes to her work. One day may include a long trip, while the next may consist of a photo shoot. Regardless of the day’s schedule, much of Janni’s work time is spent in front of the computer, answering e-mails, editing images and blogging. She works best at home on the couch with the sound of the television in the background.

“Strangely enough, that’s when I’m focusing the best. I like when there’s noise in the background. [I] don’t really think an office would be for me… I’m getting stressed by the thought.”

As for her best tips for a successful career, Janni believes you should do something you love.

“Classic, but so accurate! If you do something because you have to, you will not enjoy it. If you do something you love, you can spend endless hours doing it, which usually leads to something good.”

What does Janni hope to be doing in 10 years?

“I hope Jon and I live in a house in a warm country with lots of palm trees around. We have two children, and [we] work with our clothing brand we are starting. I hope I’m still blogging and sharing my travels – partly because it’s cool to keep a ‘diary’ from my life, and partly because I love my followers who support me daily. If I can dream some more, [I’d like to] have a small wellness café where I make smoothie bowls and healthy shots. [I hope to continue] enjoying life.”

Janni’s style tips:

  • Dress in clothes you feel comfortable in and that you feel represent yourself. You can express so much with clothes. The confidence you feel when wearing an outfit you love is unbeatable!
  • You definitely don’t need to follow trends! I usually try out new trends because of my job, but I have no problem ignoring a trend if I don’t feel comfortable in it.
  • Use a lot of colors! It always brightens up both me and other people around [me]!

“My biggest wish is that everyone should feel comfortable with themselves. I hope that’s what I’m inspiring to.”
